Alchemy is the ancient art of turning base metal into gold. It is also a metaphor for the power we have to enrich our lives. The science of transformation, known as inner alchemy, can transform the most chaotic existence into pure gold.

In our fast paced world we long for a feeling of connectedness and a centeredness of being. We strive to bring peace and balance into our everyday lives, however serenity is often elusive when we search outwardly for that which defines us.

Bridging ancient wisdom with understandings from the field of quantum physics, Sandra Wallin and Holly James will guide you on an inward journey, to a place within where we house true peace, serenity and connection. Holly James B.S.W., M.A. R.Psych., is a Registered Psychologist specializing in transformational healing for the body, mind and soul. Her unique approach to integrative psychotherapy has been developed through more than ten years in private practice. Holly’s passion is psycho-spiritual wellness and includes developing and teaching meditation and spiritual awareness classes aimed at allowing others to touch their own essence. She is currently in the process of authoring her first book, Transformational Psychology.

As founder and director of The Artemis Centre in Calgary, Alberta, Holly is a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team which has recently expanded to include horses as co-therapists. She is formally trained in and certified in Hypnotherapy, EMDR, Psych-K, Aura Soma and various techniques for somatic healing.

Holly takes her inspiration from the paths of the great spiritual masters. She is touched by the resiliency and strength of spirit she witnesses in her clients. Her life goal is the expansion of consciousness wherein others are empowered to claim their true identity and aspire to wholeness through spiritual integration and the fulfillment of their life purpose.

Sandra Wallin is a Registered Clinical Counsellor, an educator and a consultant whose private practice near Vancouver, BC integrates equine- guided development, expressive arts, and ethical leadership.

A lifetime of experiencing and observing the powerful dynamics between horses and humans led Sandra to pursue extensive training in Equine-Guided Learning and Therapy. She is a an Epona-Approved Instructor and additionally, has studied with many of the leaders in this innovative field. In turn, she has been invited to teach and facilitate groups across North America, supporting the personal and/or professional development of each participant or team.

Chiron’s Way Counselling Services was founded by Sandra to provide educational and therapeutic experiences in a setting which supports and nurtures individuals, families and groups.

Sandra is also a school counsellor, a Roots of Empathy Instructor, and a teacher of gifted students in the Coquitlam School District. She has Bachelor’s Degrees in Science and Education, a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and is formally trained in EMDR, Expressive Arts, horsemanship and a variety of integrative teaching and therapeutic modalities.
