Linda Miller is a Homeopath and a Symphonic Soprano Soloist and composer. She appeared and sang in the opening operatic scene in Martin Scorsese’s film, “Age of Innocence,” starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Daniel Day-Lewis and Winona Ryder. She has also sung as a soprano soloist for the symphony and ballet in the United States and Canada. Linda’s original music has been used in a variety of spiritual settings, including opening for Matthew Fox in a retreat at Crystal Mountain in Washington. Linda’s passion for healing comes through her music, and is carried over to her love for and practice of Homeopathy.

Homeopathy: Your Natural Healing Partner

This workshop begins by discussing the fundamental principles, origins and history of this 200 year old powerful medical system and teaches participants how to use it for treating illness at home, in the office and while travelling. Homeopathic medicines are by definition non-toxic, and with the knowledge gained from this course, can be used safely and effectively by the layperson for cold, ‘flu’, common childhood ailments, headaches, fever, minor infections and other acute conditions. Adjunct to these discussions will be some basic information on nutrition and supplementation as they pertain to improving one’s overall state of health and well-being. There will also be a mini-proving to bring home how it all works.

Chanting the Seven Chakras

This portion of the workshop discusses the seven chakras as understood by a variety of world mystical traditions and as observed by modern metaphysicians. It culminates in the singing of seven chants, one for each chakra, for clearing and expanding awareness. These chants can be used later for personal meditation or inspiration.

Learn how to find your singing voice or improve the one you’ve got. We explore how the voice accesses the heart. The singing part of the workshop is mostly interactive. There is a CD of the chanting and other compositions to take home.
