Encounter Love: a Couples Retreat

The Encounter Love is a unique weekend experience developed by Dene and Deborah. It aims to create opportunity for all couples in committed relationships to enrich their partnership and passion!

“Our approach is to create a safe and fun environment for participants to connect with their partner to enhance the quality of their relating andÊrevitalise their passion. We believe that our being in a committed relationship as facilitators of this experience is vital to the credibility of this program”.

The facilitators do this through presentations, story-telling, self-disclosure and honest communication. It is these qualities that make this weekend an experience to remember. The participants are invited to engage in private couples-conversation in break-out rooms with no pressure to share in the main group, and experiential activities that lead to self-discovery and group conversations. Insights from the weekend will invite thought-provoking dialogue long after the weekend itself.

Five modules are covered:

• Why we fall for tall, dark, short, fat, handsome, blonde, pretty, thin people. - (How the past influences the present)
• The catch-22 of love relationships - (The downside of loving too much - the upside of loving too little)
• Learning to speak from the heart - (The rewards of authentic communication - being an emotionally intelligent lover)
• What’s after the kama sutra? - ( About lovemaking, lust and exquisite sex)
• Growing closer is a conscious choice. - (The habit of showing up)

Dene is a professional speaker and inspiring presenter with many years experience as a facilitator, communications specialist, and multi-media author. His unique background enables him to speak with passion on a variety of subjects. His presentations and programs on Authentic Communication (www.authenticdialogue.com) and Authentic Love Relationships are designed for self-discovery. Dene is married to Deborah, a personal development specialist, coach and facilitator and educator.

As a certified WEL-Systems Facilitator and a certified Master Practitioner of WEL-Systems Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), she brings a refreshing perspective that inspires others to rise to their true potential. Deborah also has an Honours Degree in Organizational Psychology, a Drama Degree and a Higher Diploma in Education.
