Sandra Wallin is a Registered Clinical Counsellor, an educator and a consultant whose private practice near Vancouver, BC integrates equine-guided development, expressive arts, and ethical leadership.

A lifetime of experiencing and observing the powerful dynamics between horses and humans led Sandra to pursue extensive training in Equine-Guided Learning and Therapy. She is a an Epona-Approved Instructor and additionally, has studied with many of the leaders in this innovative field. In turn, she has been invited to teach and facilitate groups across North America, supporting the personal and/or professional development of each participant or team.

Chiron’s Way Counselling Services was founded by Sandra to provide educational and therapeutic experiences in a setting which supports and nurtures individuals, families and groups.

Sandra is also a school counsellor, a Roots of Empathy Instructor, and a teacher of gifted students in the Coquitlam School District. She has Bachelor’s Degrees in Science and Education, a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and is formally trained in EMDR, Expressive Arts, horsemanship and a variety of integrative teaching and therapeutic modalities.

Sandra is also co-facilitator of our workshop on October 19th with Holly James, and November 17th with Taylore Halsden.

The term mandala is Sanskrit for sacred circle. Examples of such circles are found throughout history and the natural world. The essence of each mandala is thought to reflect the internal rhythm of its creator. Encounters with horses, in a roundpen or any natural space, will mirror this inner life.

Sandra looks upon the roundpen as a sacred space due to the transformational exchanges that so often occur within it. Join us while we explore our true natures, nurtured within the heart of these sacred circles which call upon us to widen and balance our perspectives.
